I have a Newcomb Studio Art loom, which came off the assembly line in 1959 and has supported several families of weavers.
In 2011, the loom came to me.
The rugs in this collection are created from the same recycled fabrics as my knit rugs. They are woven in a dense 2:2 twill that creates a very thick, durable rug. The warp threads are almost completely protected by the weft and should not wear out if the rug is used away from entry doors.
These are the original creations; some of their images are used on other products available in the store.
