The flowers went out in public for the first time at the 2018 Bynum Bridge Art Fest on the old Bynum Bridge across the Haw River between Pittsboro and Chapel Hill, NC.
It was a lovely day for an art show. The weather was perfect.
I wish I had remembered the tent walls. The bridge is surrounded by tree-tops and the flowers had trouble competing. We had a group of bird watchers on the bridge while we were setting up.
Turtles came out of the still-cold Haw River to sun themselves on every available outcrop.
John had to get to Siler City for Roger Person's 80th birthday party, so I loaded out by myself and then followed him over to the downtown event.
Look for your application next year!
