We had the flowers at the 2018 Fat Cat Art Fest on June 9-10, 2018. Warm Saturday, and a great show! Details below the poster.
10 artists, great food. 758 Ravens Lane off 902 south of Pittsboro, NC. 10-6 Saturday, 12-6 Sunday.
Gretchen Niver showed cold and warm glass; Kate Ladd had paintings.
As usual, Gretchen had fabulous food both days:
The Forever Flowers looked pretty good in the new display racks. Silver Hydrangeas (front right), Spring Basket (mid-picture), and Turquoise & Copper Wreath (center rear, below Regimental Wreath) were new this show.
Beth Bales watercolors at the lower left; Michael Thompson woodturnings on the right.
Ben Kapity was working wrought iron outside the hanger.
The Wall O'Flowers looked great on the pegboard above the couch. Couldn't show them with backlighting, though.
It's always peaceful to look out of the hanger to the gazebo and pond, with the runway on the far side of the pond. Mosaic art by Janice Rieves.
