Arrangement in Black and White
Arrangement in Black and White is comprised of 23 fabric flowers individually handmade from cotton and linen fabric sample swatches and quilting cottons. Each flower is built on a wire stem. Handmade paper leaves complete the arrangement, which is built in a shatter-proof container.
The arrangement is roughly 12-14" in each direction. Flowers can be rearranged or removed. The glue is waterproof but this arrangement is intended for indoor use only; the fabrics are not treated for outdoor use and will fade in direct sun.
This arrangement is one-of-a-kind. I have a few more flowers in these patterns and could create a related matching arrangement on request.
The black and white flowers in these two bouquets are a match to the fabric flowers used in this arrangement:
Red Carnations & B&W Giraffe Roses
Forever Flowers from KarenTiedeStudio are fabric flowers, individually handmade from upcycled upholstery remnants and fabrics leftover from abandoned sewing projects. Fabrics are not purchased new at retail, although some may be collected from "last yard" bins at fabric stores. Many fabrics are acquired when lifelong quilters and sewists donate or sell their stash.
